Funeral Services Platform — Family App, Partner App & Admin Panel
When someone passes away, their family has to arrange many things at once in very little time: a burial plot, grave diggers, a headstone, a hearse, paperwork, and clergy — usually by phoning many different parties with no certainty on price. This platform brings all of it together. Families find verified cemeteries in a list or on a map, pick a plot, add supporting services to a single cart, review the cost breakdown and time estimates, pay, and then follow every step on the order timeline. On the other side, cemetery managers, vendors, and clergy use the partner app — one APK that adapts to the account type — to manage plots and services and receive work orders with deadlines, while operators oversee everything from a web admin panel. All pricing, payments, and work orders are computed on the server, not on the phone. Phase 1 (family app) and Phase 2 (partner app, push & chat, admin panel) have been handed over; Phase 3 — Midtrans payments (still in sandbox mode) and store release preparation — is in progress. The brand name is confidential because the product hasn't launched yet, and the screenshots use test data.

Plot, digging, headstone, transport, paperwork, and clergy are ordered in one cart and one payment — at a time when the family is grieving and has no time to find each one separately.

Prices are clear before paying
The cost of each service is visible before the order is placed, the platform fee is shown separately and waived for religious services, and every service shows its time estimate.

One plot can't be booked by two families
A plot is held the moment an order is created. Plots whose condition is uncertain are confirmed by the manager before payment opens, and orders left unpaid for two hours release their plot automatically.

Families can follow every step
The order timeline shows who is doing what. Updates from partners — accepted, in progress, done with photo proof — appear on the family's phone right away.

No job slips through
The system checks deadlines every 15 minutes. Partners who haven't responded or are running late are flagged, and operators can reassign the partner, resend, or cancel the item with a refund.

Respecting each faith's customs
Clergy can be searched by religion, church, and gender, with pay-what-you-wish honoraria. The system also warns when the deceased's religion doesn't match the chosen cemetery type or clergy.

Technical highlights
The advanced parts behind the scenes that make this system run smoothly.
- Prices, totals, payment status, and work orders can only be written by Cloud Functions — Firestore security rules forbid the app from writing orders or payments directly, so prices can't be tampered with from a phone.
- Paid status only comes from a Midtrans webhook whose SHA-512 signature is verified, with the status then re-fetched from the Midtrans API. Every payment attempt is recorded, switching methods cancels the old charge, and money arriving for a closed order, with a mismatched amount, or paid twice is logged and escalated to an admin.
- A scheduler runs every 15 minutes: it flags partners who haven't responded within 60 minutes or have missed a deadline, and closes unpaid orders so their plots become available again.
- Work order deadlines are computed per service type: plot confirmation within 3 hours, digging done 1 hour before the burial, religious services and transport per their schedule, headstones from the burial date plus production time.
- Business rules — the platform fee percentage, the exemption for religious services, the payment deadline, and partner response limits — are set from the admin panel within server-enforced bounds, with no app release needed.
- Clergy schedules are checked for conflicts (±3 hours) and against days off they mark themselves; managers can add plots in bulk per block (e.g. A-01 to A-20), and plots currently being booked are locked from editing.
